I work mostly telecom and it's easier to tell someone to dig 4-5 holes than plan the best strategy. Also, in the East coast we are prescribed by SHPO to do STPs on phase I's. Of course if we put in the time we could suggest an alternative testing strategy. But time is the problem

I think convenience and pricing keep it from being critically evaluated. For #CRMarch, its the easiest way to gather data without developing a research design for every project. We should be evaluating every project individually but we don't. #Archaeology

After 3 months of being the sole full-time staff for my division has made me realize how much I depend on a collaborative atmosphere to be successful. The only way is forward I guess. More projects=more staff, and may at least someone to ask if I'm about to make a mistake.
